CONGAN Catenary components
Quality

What we control, and what we will not claim

A component is judged twice: at goods receipt and, years later, on the line.

01

Material and finish

Written into the quotation

Material grade, coating type and coating thickness are stated on the quotation, not left to a catalogue page. If your project standard fixes them, we quote to that standard and say so.

02

Dimensional control

First-off, then through the run

The tooling is set against the drawing and the first part is measured before the run continues. Samples can be sent for your own inspection before batch production.

03

Coating and appearance

Checked before the cartons close

Galvanised and plated surfaces are checked for coverage and finish before packing. Threads are protected for shipment; parts are packed to survive sea freight, not just the truck.

04

Documents

Whatever the order calls for

Packing list, invoice and certificate of origin as standard. Mill certificates, dimensional reports and inspection records when the purchase order lists them.

The part we leave out

No certification badges on this site

Plenty of component websites show ISO, CRCC or EN marks whether or not they hold them.

Standards we are asked to work to most often: TB/T series, EN 50119, and project specifications.
Documents

What can travel with a shipment

Ask for the ones your contract lists.

A

Commercial

Packing list, invoice, certificate of origin, bill of lading as arranged with your forwarder.

B

Material

Mill certificates where the mill issues them.

C

Inspection

Dimensional and coating records when the purchase order names them.

Ask the awkward question first.

Certificates, tolerances, packing, lead time.
